Changelog:

3.0-1

- New wallpaper, hope to be more centered for new X10 devices, same resolution of 2048x2048 (as usual for SFOS3.x).

- Changed the highlightColor & secondaryHighlightColor to red tones.

- All sound files converted to mp3 and normalized (at least I manually tried to) using mp3gain.

2.0-1

- New wallpaper, more eye-friendly ;)

- Changed the highlightColor accordingly to light "metal" grey.

- Longest wav files (calendar & ringtone) converted to mp3,  that lowers the sound a bit but greatly reduce the package size.

1.2-1

- Decreased brightness & color temp to reduce the high contrast.

- Changed the highlightColor to be more visible on the menus.

- Modified some sounds.

1.0-1 - initial commit

Prefer gray one

Hello, Pamoedo. I think your ambiance is excellent! I have only one question. How did you manage to get a grey color in it? When I create ambiances on my device, I cannot set them to be grey, and I really need them to be so it would look better.

@Branja

When you make an ambience on your device from an image or photo, you are governed by the ambience algorithm, meaning you have no control over colorisation.

User created ambience and packaged ambience (like this one) reside in 2 different places. The type created here by pamoedo is a packaged ambience, but for user created ambience colors, have a look here; https://together.jolla.com/question/222453/how-to-edit-colors-in-a-theme/ at the answer from user eriXD

Thanks for your feedback Branja, appreciated!

Regarding the colors, just take a look within "/usr/share/ambience/mandalorian/mandalorian.ambience" file, you'll find there the HEX values, here you have the latest ones:

    "highlightColor"            : "#FFE82C44",
    "secondaryHighlightColor"   : "#FFDB2A1A",
    "primaryColor"              : "#FFFFFFFF",
    "secondaryColor"            : "#B0FFFFFF",

@Markkyboy, @pamoedo, thank you both for suggestions. I will try changing the values and see how it goes.

Why do you remove the old ambiences with every major update?

pamoedo's picture

I don't fully understand your question, are you asking "why with every update, the previous package content is being overwritten"?

the head is not centered =( on x10 it's quite noticable

I know, that's the reason I manually cut the image in one of the corners to try to fit it as much as possible within the 2048x2048 default SFOS 3.x wallpaper resolution.

Try the new wallpaper and tell me how you see it, AFAIK, the new Xperia 10 has a resolution of 2520x1080 so I'm not sure how it will react with the default SFOS3.x wallpaper zoom feature.
