butaca
Butaca is a movie database application for MeeGo Harmattan.
You can use it to:
- Get all details about movies and TV shows: release date, overview, cast & crew, trailer...
- Get all details about a celebrity: birth details, biography, filmography...
- Check showtimes -when available- for cinemas around you
Butaca uses different data sources to present its content. It gets the information about movies, TV shows and celebrities from The Movie Database, an open movie database where everybody can collaborate. It shows movie showtimes -when available- using results from Google Showtimes.
You can help to improve the app by forking the code at github [1] or by translating the app to your language(s) at transifex [2].

There is a lil bug present. Add to/Remove from watchlist menu item is changed from one to another state only after change app screen (move to previous and back again etc). Is it a bug or it's a feature?

They don't seem to offer an API. Also I don't see a translated version of the website that I could read ;)
Integrating more DB sources is possible but also involves lots of effort. Feel free to contribute!

some guy wrote that there is API of kinopoisk, but he also mentioned that he had to contact kinopoisk's administration for it. In addition, he said that maximum queries per day are limited, so i don't really think it's worth it to add this api.
Why didn't you use API of IMDb in your app?

IMDB is not used in the app because it cannot be used free of charge, unfortunately. And thank you for the compliment, I/we appreciate it.
