We know that self-control is an important tool when managing your diabetes. That's why we made an app that lets you do that straight from your phone, a device you're always carrying with you. Glukometr keeps all your measurements, evaluates them for you, notifies when it's time to take your medications and more. If you have a Bluetooth Low Energy enabled glucometer*, the app will sync your measurements, so you don't have to enter them manually.
We also care about your privacy, that's why you're in control of your data, it's not being sent to the cloud or anywhere. Source code is available on GitHub.
Key features:
This app was created by Maciej Janiszewski and Wioleta Womińska during Mobile App Development course at the University of Wroclaw.
* We tried it with Contour Plus One and it worked but keep in mind that your mileage may vary

Can you provide more details? What phone you're using, which SFOS release, what issue you're facing. I noticed that Bluetooth Low Energy on Sailfish can be pretty buggy.

It sounds like it couldn't find Glucose Measurement service. There is a possibility that somehow your device is not exposing that service, something worth checking out. I don't have a next ONE so I can't check that but I could guide you through some steps if you're willing to help. It could also be an issue with Bluetooth support on XA2. Release notes on TJC mention that support for that feature on XA2 is "initial only", which could probably mean anything.
You mentioned that you could connect with the Android app in the past. Do you still have an Android device? If so, could you try an Android port? It's the same codebase. https://github.com/WWominska/Glukometr/releases/tag/1.0

Sorry cant test the apk for u as i don't have any Android device anymore , i think i will wait for the commercial full package for XA2 in the near future. hopefully next week .
ps i can connect with BT to my Samsung smart TV, so the connection or visabilty either way is there.

Could you run the app in terminal, try to connect and paste me the output? It should list all GATT services exposed by the device.
