Yeah, working :) Great. One suggestion - I have patch manager 3 and it is checking compatibility of patch with current system version. So your patch cannot be installed via patchmanager, because there is written, that patch is compatible with 2.1.0.10 and 2.1.0.11 and older versions, not 3.0.0.8 > it cant be installed via patchmanager. I had to install via storeman.
oh, by the way, patch "always show close icon in app-switcher", made by ancelad, looks like it was not updated for a while and ancelad looks "inactive". Can you help with making SFOS3 compatible version?
Look up "God mode" (video gaming) on your own, but in the context of Patchmanager it addresses the "Developer mode" in its top-pulley.
It does not make you invincible though, rather the opposite. ;)
And only use RPM-Patches (e.g. from OpenRepos), if there is no version of a specific Patch in Patchmanager's web-catalog!
But is not better to make some minor change that patch will show compatibility with SFOS 3.0.0.8? I think more "uninformated" users like me will appreciate it :)
Hi Coderus, I have Nurmonjoki 2.2.1.18 and patchmanager 3, it tells me "failed to apply patch". Is some newer, compatible version on the way please? :)
I use only always show close icon
and hide recent contacts.same patches I was using on haapajoki on nexus 4 and all was working well.only patchmanager I had 2.0
This great patch used to rotate even the "home"-screen. After updating to SOS 2.0.4 yesterday, still all the apps rotate but "home"-screen stays up right (and also all the minimalised screens). Because also this rotation is some kind of usefull I thought I report this issue. On my AquaFish with SOS 2.0.2 this feature still works.
Thanks for your great work and greetings from Austria, broncheoli.
Guys, you should fix one thing. I had incoming call today, pulled out my Jolla (with your patch enabled) and pulled screen to answer... - Hello! Hello! I can't hear you! Damn, phone app was rotate too so I hold my Jolla with the mic pressed to my ear :)
Seems to work fine, though I did notice a problem with app grouping (swipe up from bottom) . A folder with lots of icons (i.e. more than 7) will only display the first 7 icons when viewed in landscape.
This patch is awesome! It allows orientation of any QML interface it seems. Spacings should be fine if coded correctly from the beginning regarding ancors and padding etc.

Well, sorry to bother you again!
I checkt and all the rotations that are done are built in. It seems the patch does not work any more at all.
Thanks, broncheoli.

Is this responsible for Alien Dalvik free rotation too? As that seems not to affect it properly.

On 1.1.7.28 homescreen rotate too, and it's unusable. But applications rotation works great.

Yeah, a white-/black-list for this would be the right way to go for now. Talking about how things should be done by every dev facing UI design ;-)
