This package contains utilities around the vp8 codec sdk.
WebM is an open, royalty-free, media file format designed for the web.
WebM defines the file container structure, video and audio formats.
WebM files consist of video streams compressed with the VP8 video codec
and audio streams compressed with the Vorbis audio codec.
The WebM file structure is based on the Matroska container.

simply not possible with sdk1701-1. I'll update sdk to new sfos2.1.4 release when out. Then it will be possible... btw. Xperia X should have vp9 codec in libstagefright.so accessible via gstreamer1.0-droid unlike Jolla1

BTW, none of (Jolla1 Fairphone2 Fairphone 2 TuringPhone ...) has a CORTEX-A15 CPU core (but libvpx4 may require NEON etc.).

their snapdragon cpu's do implement cortex-a15 instruction set unlike JollaC/aquafish snapdragon212. So Jolla1,Fairphone 2 and TuringPhone meet all requirements
