Any chance you could try building the latest version? Looks like there have been a couple release updates for this library this month to improve support -> https://github.com/jgeboski/purple-facebook/releases

Well, there's a problem - I look at the new releases time to time, but they have not introduced any changes that would bring back the support for telepathy-haze (which we are using) and similar solutions.

The version I am using is the last compatible version. We are still waiting for resolution of the issue, but until then, we need to use the old version and hope that Facebook will not break anything major.

are you're sources public? then I would compile it myself for the tablet. Heavily needed!!!

Hi,

sorry for replying so late - I did not see the notification for the comment as it somehow went straight into my spam folder (probably because of the occasional spam wars on OpenRepos).

Yes, the sources are public! I am compiling version 3d30d24fdbef from the purple-facebook Github. Later version unfortunately cannot be used, as they are incompatible with telepathy-haze.

Good luck!

Hi. Please can you package it for tablet ?

Any chance of an i486 build of this for the tablet please?

Sure, once I get my Jolla Tablet. So keep your fingers crossed for me to get it soon :)

did you get one?, because if not you could buy an onda v820w and put sfos on it. in the libhybris adaptations thread is a link to a forum, where they talk about how to put it on the tablet, someone was so kind to make an "installer" to put it in internal memory, not just the sdcard
