This is the latest unofficial BETA of EmuMaster 0.4.0 dated September 2012. It was never released to public and was available only to beta testers. Latest official stable release is still 0.3.0, though it contains numerous bugs.

No official changelog were present, but by the looks of it:

  • Sound engine was improved considerably.
  • PSX engine was rewritten.

Fixed version contains several improvements over original beta version:

  • Removed BETA watermark.
  • Fixed NES Battletoads (Battletoads & Double Dragon) freeze/crash - this bug is also present in 0.3.0 version.
  • Fixed Sega Mega-CD MP3 playback problem (MP3 tracks should be in 128 kbps CBR to play properly) - this bug is also present in 0.3.0 version.
  • Minor cosmetical GUI fixes.

EmuMaster emulates popular consoles. The gallery with disks presented with either screenshots or covers makes this emulator great looking and easy to use. Huge amount of features: e.g. sixaxis is supported.

Games are not included. Please use only your own catridges or CDs.

Hello gutenmorgen,

I would like to build/port this for sailfishOS. I have the 0.3.0 built, but none of the instructions are still online for how to use... feel free to contact me on freenode.

Thank you for this!  Only problem I have is making Emumaster recognize my PSX BIOS.  Using the same method you have to use to get GBA BIOS to be recognized did not work.  Any guidance on that?

You'd better ask this on TMO thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=81136

Unfortunately, it has been asked several times without answer.  Thanks anyway.
