Asteroid Dodger

A tilt-controlled survival game, ported from the AsteroidOS smartwatch game.

Tilt to surf through an asteroid field that comes straight at you. Near misses score: dodge close and fast, and chained near misses multiply your points. Every 100 asteroids survived, the field gets faster and denser.

Four difficulties, from Cadet Swerver to Major Roadkill, each with its own high score and level.

Eight power-ups: extra shield, invincibility, double score, slow motion, shrink, auto-fire, a laser that sweeps the screen clear, and a speed boost with drunk steering.

Swipe the app away and the round keeps running in its cover on the home screen; tilt still steers.

The app asks for camera access only because that permission includes the motion sensors on SailfishOS; the camera is never used.
