AAS Net Access Manager is an app to manage which Android apps are allowed to access the internet.

** BETA **

In Sailfish, each Android app is executed under its own specific Linux user ID. This app adds firewall rules to forbid network access for selected app's user IDs.

Note that this has not been thoroughly tested yet.

Also note, that there has been no official confirmation by Jolla that this is sufficient to completely block an app from accessing the Internet. There might be ways for an app to establish connections via a different user ID.

See this forum thread for more details: Sailfish forum.

Help wanted

Please help with testing! Also, please send suggestions for a better app name!

Inspiration

This app is inspired by user chr1s's script to block Android apps from accessing the internet, available in the forum.
