Thank you very much, such a nice addition to Sailfish OS! ❤

Latest version (1.1.7-1) does not work on latest Sailfish OS (4.5.0.24).
For the test, I connected a 2-speaker plus subwoofer set to the 3.5mm jack.
The package can be installed via Storeman successfully and the interface is available in settings.
The controls can be set, but they have no bearing on the result.
'Snooze interval' and 'Repeat Interval' were set to the defaults, 10 and 5 minutes respectively.
I set the 'Alarm volume' to 100.
In 'Sounds and feedback', I set the 'Ringtone volume' to 60% and 'Volume' to 64%.
I tested the playback volumes through the Sailfish Media app first, then set the same audio file to be the alarm 'Clock' tone and set the alarm.
The alarm was significantly (approx. 80%) quieter than the playback volume of the same audio file played via Media.
I set all volume levels, including 'Ringtone volume' and 'Volume' to 100%, but still, the alarm tone is around 80% quieter than that of the playback via Media.

Thank you for all your apps, they're always neat and functional.
Just an idea: would it be possible to extend the functionality of 'Alerts' and make it work also for calendar notifications, I mean 'visual alerts'? :)
e.g. The calendar shows incoming birthdays notifications too many days in advance, so I get used to them... and I don't 'see' them on the due day. It would be wonderful to be able to decide how long before they should pop up.

But if I miss to snooze for example 5 times the alarn stops. Is it posiible to force it for example for 18 times or until dismissing.

AFAIK there's no such option. This component just configures what's already supported by Sailfish OS, it doesn't do any snoozing or anything by itself.

There was a solution for this: https://openrepos.net/content/schturman/patch-more-auto-snoozes
It is a Patchmanager Patch, the source code is the diff file (against the original QML files it patches) in its RPM ("simply" unpack it). I have not looked at it though, e.g. how intrusive its changes are.

You can snooze as many times as you like, Sailfish alarm UI allows that! Either swipe the dialog aside or press the power button and you get alarmed again after the snooze interval. I do that all the time :)

Zransufex, but also weblate are for free for ooensource. And while transifex is quickly pricey, weblate remains on the cheap side

If by transifex you mean transifex.com where prices start with $1668/year ($179/mo if billed monthly) then no link, sorry :)

FYI: transifex is free for open source projects. And I think this plugin fits the open source project definition :D

Well if my opinion counts I would put the effor of transifexization to pushingi t upstream and then we could handle the translations where we should: the pootle of the Jolla.

I didn't even remember I already had Snooze Adjuster installed as I wondered why my snooze interval is definitely more than 5 min. However, Clock Settings features also volume adjustment which might come handy. Thanks!

Thanks for this great solution for such a pain that it was the default alarm volume in the mornings. Much appreciated!

Slava is from the Jolla team ;)
Well, I was waiting for it to be officially put in the OS, but with the Xperia the alarm volume is indeed really a pain so I give up, I won't wait another 4 year and I'm installing it ^^. Thanks!

Yeah, I keep pushing it but I'm not the one making the UI decisions at Jolla. It's not that someone is against it, it's more like the case of too much work being done by too few people. Things like this keep on being pushed back to the end of the queue.

Is it possible to wrap Calendar Volume into the clock settings app, you could expand it to be SFOS volume settings app instead?

As you can see from the other comments volume control in SFOS is lacking and you might be best equipped to fix it in the short term 8). Also if you have a flattr, paypal account for donations post it here.

Another solution could be to create settings plugin for the calandar app. It doesn't seem to have one at the moment. I'm not a big fan of creating multiple standalone settings apps. The settings app already comes with Sailfish OS and that should be enough.
The downside of creating settings plugins is of course that at some point they may start conflicting with the built-in plugins.

One more nice feature to develop: setting of alarm duration. Now it sounds about a minute, no matter how long is the track you set as alarm.

I'm afraid it's hardcoded here (in seconds):

Not entirely sure though, timed sources are hard for me to understand .

Do you know if it'd be possible to assign own alarm sound for timer rather than using the default clock alarm sound? It'd be nice to have different sound for wake up alarm and timer.

I don't think so. According to
/usr/share/jolla-alarm-ui/pages/AlarmDialogBase.qml
alarm UI supports only two kinds of alarm feedback -"calendar"
and"clock"
. That's it.Ingvix

That's a shame then. I hope they separate the wake up and timer alarm in some future update like it use to be.
