NB! This module is not required starting from OSM Scout Server version 1.8. Its functionality is incorporated into the server. Keeping the page as a reference, remove from devices.

Can't the modules be packaged without a starter to keep it out of the app drawer?

The can, but this packaging was done to comply with Jolla Store. BTW, routing module is not needed at all anymore.

The fonts module is needed ONLY if you use Mapnik. If you use Mapbox maps, you could remove fonts as well
