QDL is a user-friendly, plugin-based download manager that can support downloads from any filehost, providing the appropriate plugin is installed. There are currently around 70 plugins available (install QDL Plugins to get these).

Features

Generic file downloads.
File downloads from any filehost supported by a plugin.
Multiple concurrent downloads.
Mulitple connections for each download, if the plugin supports it (download accelaration).
Captcha completion, either manual or using one of the decaptcha service plugins.
Collation of split archives into a single download package.
Optional extraction of archive files (requires unrar, unzip and tar packages).
Optional conversion of video files to audio (requires ffmpeg package).
Import download URLs from text files.
Search web pages for download URLs.
Create download categories with unique download directories.
Control downloads and obtain download information via DBus (see /usr/share/dbus-1/interfaces/com.marxoft.QDL.xml for available methods).
Control the application using the optional web interface.
