AEMET weather backend
This package provides an external weather backend for the native Sailfish Weather application using the AEMET API. Only for Spanish municipalities.
Features
- Official Data: Weather information directly from the official source in Spain (AEMET OpenData).
- Smart Geocoding: Automatically converts your coordinates into municipality codes (INE) using the official IGN CartoCiudad API.
Setup
- Obtain a free API Key from AEMET
- Go to Settings > Apps > Weather.
- Select AEMET as your data provider and paste your API Key.
Localization
The backend includes dynamic translation support and is currently available in English and Spanish.
