 # What is harbour-pi for?

 **harbour-pi (π)** is a Sailfish OS client for the **pi coding agent**.

 ## Purpose

 - **Code with AI on your phone**: chat with pi, let it read/edit files, run commands, and reason over your project —
 from a Sailfish device.
 - **Frosted-glass native UI**: not a web wrapper. Smooth Silica pages, glass panels, large **π** cover for quick
 glance.
 - **Free models ready**: ships with **opencode zen** free tier (big-pickle, hy3-free, ling, mimo, nemotron, muse-spark,
 deepseek-v4-flash, laguna, north-mini-code) and **kilo** `kilo-auto/free`, all set to **1M context / 128k output** for
 long sessions.
 - **Offline bundle**: RPM embeds `pi-coding-agent` + `node` + models, so a single `rpm -Uvh` works even without `npm`.
 - **Private by design**: runs `pi --mode rpc` locally over stdin/stdout JSONL; no extra cloud besides the model
 provider you choose.

 ## Who is it for?

 ## What it is not

 - Not a model provider. You still need API keys / free-tier access via `~/.pi/agent/auth.json`.
