Hydroxide (service)

The harbour-hydroxide installs the Hydroxide bridge service for Sailfish OS.It connects to Proton Mail through the Proton API and exposes a local IMAP and SMTP interface so Proton Mail accounts can be used with the native Sailfish Email application.

The bridge listens locally on the device and does not expose any external network services.

This package only provides the background service.
For easier setup, password generation and account management you should also install harbour-hydroxide-ui, the companion user interface.

Note: The Hydroxide bridge service only can be used with free Protonmail accounts. If you use proton-bridge cli, don't use this one.
