This is an unofficial nativ sailfishos client for the readeck server application. Readeck is a self hostable read it later service. Because I enjoy the beauty and elegance of sailfish and I rely on this service I told claude to build one.

I distribute this software as is and it fits my personal needs so I thought I'll share the app with others.

What works:

  • OAuth Login
  • Share menu integration
  • Submit links to the server and let them scrape content
  • Submit local browser content to the server (useful for paywalled content)
  • Tags
  • PDF export

Maybe someday:

  • Highlighting
  • Summarize articles
  • Track reading time

Keep in mind that armv7hl variant is untested.

Changelog:

- Add a setting to toggle justified article text on/off - Settings page: server/username shown as label then value on its own line, left-aligned, with spacing between the two - Article info page: reading time shown the same way, for consistency; "Links" heading now matches the other section headings
