nmap-suid is just the nmap part (no zenmap, ncat etc) of the nmap project. This nmap version has setuid, so it runs as root. This way it can retrieve more info than running as a regular user.

It is solely meant for supporting the InfraView app.

Quoting the nmap executable:
WARNING: Running Nmap setuid, as you are doing, is a major security risk.

But I can't install it on my tablet, I get this error when I try to install from terminal: nmap-suid-7.70-1.i586.rpm has wrong architecture: i586

Right, "zypper in nmap-suid-7.70-1.i586" works, but pkcon seems to have issues. I will need to look at this further, but for now you could use zypper.

Ok, thank you for your answer!! I've already installed nmap-suid in my tablet ;)

It's named i586 during compilation, but works fine on the tablet.

Hi ade!! I would like to install Infraview in my tablet, but nmap-suid isn't available for i486 devices. Could you add it here? Thanks in advance!
