Unofficial native client for Sailfish OS

3.0.3 Hossa update brings some changes to PackageKit which break Storeman. If you have upgraded to 3.0.3 Hossa before installing Storeman v0.1.5 then you have to update Storeman manually by downloading the RPM from the OpenRepos.

ATTENTION! If you have any troubles with installing, removing or updating packages after the system upgrade try to run devel-su pkcon refresh in the terminal app.

WARNING! Storeman is at its early stage of development and can be unstable! Application name does not affiliated to any other software.

No it refreshes only your enabled OpenRepos repositories.

osetr's picture

It looks like a regression. I'll try to fix it after holidays.

bomo's picture

It looks like can not be viewed in storeman. Maybe because it doesn't have any files to download?

Shervrar's picture

Crashes when commenting, although the comment does go through

Scratch the last message. It worked just that once. According to Storeman I've only got 4 apps installed on my Jolla 1s. The apps that I do have installed are not reflected in Storeman.

Did you install these apps with Storeman? Are corresponding repositories enabled?

Mick's picture

All working now. :)

Mick's picture

Baffled. My other Jolla Mk1 is giving me a 'Network Error' when starting Storeman.

Quick update on my last post.
Just tried an update of Dyncal and it worked this time around. Will now try my other Jolla Mk1 handset.

Can't update or download/install apps on Jolla 1 running Sailfish 3.XX.
I have two Jolla 1's both running SF 3.XX and they are both displaying the same error. My Sony Xperia is fine when using Storeman.

Can you please provide some additional info? Do you speak about updating apps from the "Installed apps" page or from a particular app page?

New commentaries sending failed.

Try to re-login to Openrepos.

I've noticed this too. Edit: The updating apps bug. Commenting works now after latest release.

Historyscholar's picture

Very Good!Thanks!

Mick's picture

Network Error notification keeps popping up when the app is started on SailfishX
Any ideas?

the app preview pictures can't be enlarged on my intex since version 0.0.28

osetr's picture

Could they have been enlarged before? I use standard Silica components for apps' pictures and rely on its behaviour.

Edit: Nevermind pkcon refresh helped

Thank you osetr again for updating storeman! Comment bug is gone, fantastic! ;)

Hi osetr, for some reason, I do not get offered 'Install' from top pulley menu, this is rather frutrating while trying to upload/check my own apps - all I get offered on the pulley menu is Reload and Refresh cache, these options do not change. I have uninstalled Storeman and reinstalled, but it makes no difference; any ideas?, thanks.

osetr's picture

It's strange. I've just checked some of your packages and everything seems to be ok. Have you tried to remove and re-add your repo?

Markkyboy's picture

I don't know what I did, but now it is all working again. A glitch in the matrix I guess ;)
Thanks for your time osetr :)

Markkyboy's picture

Oddly, I am offered the option to 'Install' from other repos, just not my own, ...the plot thickens!

osetr's picture

Can you try to install your package through the Terminal app?

Markkyboy's picture

Doing that right now :)
Here's the output:

[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ devel-su pkcon refresh
Refreshing cache
Refreshing software list
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ devel-su pkcon install shortcut-screenshots
Resolving                                                    [                             ] (0%)  Package not found: shortcut-screenshots
Command failed: This tool could not find any available package: No packages were found
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$

Markkyboy's picture

Yes, I've just tried removing my repo and adding again, it took a long time to add and I still only have Reload and Refresh cache from top pulley menu. It must be a problem with my device, as I can see that one user has successfully download and left feedback on a new app. Strange indeed.
No amount of removal, restarting, refreshing, turnning device off/on, reset connection.....I always try everything I can before making contact with devs, unless I am lost.........this time, I am lost.

Historyscholar's picture

Storeman have not Chinese currently. Please add Chinese.Thanks.

osetr's picture

Storeman currently has zh_CN (Chinese, China) locale. All available locales are listed at Transifex.

Hi. storeman seems rather unusable here on Trying to install several apps like Laufhelden or Pure Maps results in a fail due to "Aborted by user". pkcon refresh did not help. Downloading the files directly from openrepos and installing them with file manager works. So this looks like some sort of "download problem". However, irritating error message. Is there some log file to look into?

osetr's picture

Here is the debug version. But since Storeman is launched through the invoker it's a bit complicated to obtain its logs. To do it note the time of launching Storeman and after closing it type in Terminal

devel-su journalctl --since "2018-11-17 22:30" > /home/nemo/harbour-storeman.log

where the "--since" value is the time you've noted. Then send me please the resulting "harbour-storeman.log" file.
