A remake of the game "Thrust II" released on 1987 and remade by Pedro Gimeno (pgimeno).

I worked over the fork of pgmino and added the following features:

- Replaced all assets and added backgrounds and other extras.

- set screen resolution for modern mobile phones in portrait mode

- Added touch controls

- Added pull menu

- Added about section

- Added shaders

v0.1.1 adds all of the above listed.

v0.1.2 adds:

- Replaced most assets

- Game pauses automatically when not on focus (minimized or receiving a call) and when using the pull menu

- Nebula like shader for the background (apparently it does not much on mobile because it relies heavily on floating point calculations so it basically looks better on a desktop)

- Flexible cable (the one that pick up orbs, work in progress, the new flexible cable remains on the center of the screen and does not follow the ship when the ship is not centered by the camera)

Advice: Close the game properly from the pull menu, closing the windows from Sailfish apparently causes sometimes that a thread of the game or something remains working and could drain unnecesarily battery and / or make your system unstable.

v0.1.3 adds:

- Flexible cable with highlighted segments

- Different settings for desktop and mobile to improve performance

- Many tweaks and effects

Tip: The "Thrust" and "pick up" buttons are so close that intersect with each other, this is on purpose, in this game you have to press both simultaneosly many times, you can do that with one finger by pressing the interesection.

Remember to close the game from the pull menu! By closing it from sailfish some thread of the game remains active draining battery and making system unstable!

v0.1.4 adds:

  • New Parallax Background: Adds depth and immersion to the game environment.
  • Smoke Effect Under the Ship: Enhances visual realism during gameplay.
  • Dialogue System: Introduced to handle in-game events, bringing narrative elements to life.
  • Code Refactoring: Improved code structure for better readability, easier maintenance, and future scalability.
  • Performance Tweaks: Minor optimizations to ensure smoother gameplay.

v0.1.5 Release Notes:

  • New Features:
    • Animated Avatar and Dubs: Bring narrative to life with dynamic animations and voiceovers. These additions provide engaging storytelling and helpful tips to enhance your experience.

Important Notes:

  1. Memory Requirements:
    • This update significantly increases memory usage, which may lead to system instability on older devices or those with limited RAM.
    • If you encounter performance issues:
      • Close all background apps to free up memory.
      • If problems persist, consider reverting to version 0.1.4, which has lower memory requirements.
  2. Battery and Performance Tip:
    • Ensure the game is fully closed after use by properly closing it from the pull-down menu.
    • In rare cases, a hidden game thread may continue running in the background, consuming battery and causing system instability, you can prevent this by closing from the pull menu.

v0.1.5-2 Release Notes:

- Applied proper shader to the game and background

- Extra video for the last intro sentence

v0.1.6 Release Notes:

- 7 new music tracks by several artists such as:

- Tsorthan Grove

- Vitalezzz

- Alexandr Zhelanov

- MaxStack

- Liq_mmry

Details about credits and licenses for the music tracks aswell as links to the tracks can be found inside the game on the file "Authors.md"
