Videoworks is an experimental new video editor for SailfishOS and part of an initiative to provide some powerful multimedia tools in line with Imageworks and Audiocut. Among its features are:
- all the basics: trim, cut, pad, resize, speed
- add overlays: video, image, label or audio
- create storylines and slideshows
- create subtitles or add from file
- create splitscreen videos
- add transparency "greenscreens"
- extract audio files or mix in new tracks
- record audio as overlay comment
- apply effects or color filters
- re-encode files...

v0.3.4 new functions
- 11 new effects: deshake, repair keyframes, lens correction, vertigo, clear black or white frames (e.g. remove strobo flashes), ...
- brightness, contrast, gamma, saturation now possible on marked duration
- audio filters (noise filters, echo, lowpass, highpass)
- add subtitles from files or create manually
- fade in/out according to marked area
- info display ratio and pixel ratio
- freeze video for certain duration
- reordered effects in groups
- renamed to Videoworks

Very nice. Work much appreciated. However I can't see video preview of recorded videos from device, making cutting/editing quite difficult. Am I missing some codec?
