Paketti
Paketti is a Sailfish application for tracking Finnish Posti, Matkahuolto, Postnord (MyPack/Posten.se), Hermes.de, La Poste and DHL shipments. You can track multiple shipments at the same time.
The application also has the option to show the tracking code as a barcode readable by the barcode scanner in the retrieval point.
When you search a shipment, the tracking code is saved to the search history and the shipment's information is updated every time the application is started.
Language choices: Finnish, Swedish, English, German, French, Norwegian, Polish.

Kun suoritat haun seurantakoodilla, hakemasi seurantakoodi tallennetaan hakuhistoriaan, jossa olevien lähetysten tiedot päivitetään automaattisesti kun ohjelma avataan tai valitset alasvetovalikosta Päivitä.
Kielivaihtoehdot: Suomi, ruotsi, englanti, saksa, ranska, norja, puola.

I have a Screenshot give me 5 min
So much to do so finally here the screenshot .. :(
in the meanwhile the tracking was working .... strange
only the time is not correct i tested with a other package number.
the website from DHL says 04.12.2021 13:48
Paketti shows 14:48 ? is this from UTC evtl ?

Hi again since yesterday tracking via DHL is not working anymore.
I Checked three times the correct tracking number. But i got "JSON contained an error....."

Thanks for the aarch64-build!
Could you make the barcode scale up bigger? I felt it was smallish already on Xperia X's screen, now on Xperia 10-II the barcode is very small. (Yes, it does work and can be read, but looks silly on the huge display).

Is it just me or does Finnish Posti have issues with VPN? In Paketti I get json parsing errors when VPN is enabled, works fine when disabled. Furthermore, I have trouble accessing the Posti tracking website with VPN enabled. EDIT: I'm using NordVPN with OpenVPN

It's unlikely that they would have issues with VPN as a technology, as it can't really be detected. But it may be that they've blocked NordVPN or even a larger bunch of foreign IPs altogether. I don't have any contacts to the Finnish Posti to get details about this, sorry! The API we're using is somewhat unofficial and there's therefore no support for it.
I just noticed that Posti also has an official API which requires authentication, I might look into maybe integrating to that instead in the future.

Hi @ZeiP, is there a reason, why Paketti has not been updated for a while at the Jolla Store?
Paketti 0.6.5 from June 2020 is still offered there as the recent version, although newer versions were released here at OpenRepos since then.

The original application author is still in charge of submitting the application to Jolla Store, so any new versions are first here in Openrepos and in GitHub, where I can submit them myself. I've sent him the new versions, but haven't heard back. I'll ask him if he could release the new versions there also, sorry for the delay.

Oh yes, I see "Updated 9:35, 08/01/2021" for Paketti in the Jolla Store.
Still v0.65 is installed and the Jolla Store does not offer an update. Maybe because my production phone is still on SailfishOS 3.2.1. Do your recent Paketti releases have dependencies on current versions of SailfishOS RPMs / components?
If so, never mind, if that is not just the result of using a recent Sailfish SDK for building Paketti. While major code changes or sacrificing functionality in order to support older SailfishOS releases are definitely not worth the effort, using an older SDK (if technically feasible) likely is, IMO.
Anyway, kudos to you for your excellent maintenance of this app.

That'a actually a good question. I'm not sure how the dependencies work; there's no reason for any specific requirements.
I think this is because I'm using the SailfishOS 3.3.0.16 build targets. I'll take a look later at what's the recommended approach to maintain maximum compatibility without security implications or problems with more recent releases.

Great app i tested with hermes.de today thank you.But i got a problem with DHL Tracking
the time zone is not correct. and for dhl, the translation in German is missing.
And it seems that tha the app cant connect properly to the dhl.de site:
it take a long time to receice the information
Hermes tracking works perfectly. Great job so far :)

Great, thanks, really cool!. I ask me how complicated it would be to add global tracking services like 17track.net ? It would cover about 400 tracking services from different countries! But i don't know how free their API is.

Yeah, using such an API would of course be better. I haven't found a free API so far; for example 17track.net forbids usage through another software. There are many others but they all seem to cost more or less. If you find a free one, let me know.
