MyStuff is a small app to help you organize - stuff.

Around the house, I have a lot of boxes, drawers and cupboards containing bits and pieces, and I can never remember in which box I placed my bicycle lights.

The idea of this app, is to register where I put the lights, then I can always ask the app whenever I need them, and it tells me that the lights is placed in box number one in the kitchen cupboard.

Please let me know if you have any ideas, whishes or problems to/with the app.

This app is translatable, so if you want to translate it let me know and I'll send you the translation source.

You can reach me at kim@foder.dk, or on these pages.

Hi!
I really would like to use your app but it's only available for aarch. Would it be possible for you to compile it for arm?
Greetings.

Coming soon.

Thanks for today's update.
Just realized that an empty container is deleted automatically. So if I want to rename I can move all items to a container with the new name and the old ones gets deleted. That's all I need.

kif's picture

Yes, from a data viewpoint, a container does not exists as such, it is just an information connected to the item.

I do believe a rename function would be a nice function, so I'll probably add one.

tmojo's picture

It would be nice to be able to rename an existing container. Alternatively it may be an option to move all items from one to a new container and delete the old one.

tmojo's picture

Deleting an item, does not seem to work.

kif's picture

Yes, something semes to have been lost with the last changes. I'll have a look.

Great idea with the last used container.

I can see the need to rename a container, I will see what I can do.

tmojo's picture

If I add one item to a container, there's quite a chance that the next item goes into the same container.
So wouldn't it make sense to remember the last used container and use that as a preset for new items?

tmojo's picture

May I suggest to preset the count input field to 1?

It won't happen often, that I add a new item with number 0, but rather often number 1.

Great idea, I will change it.

Thanks.

Great, thanks!
It works now.

Your app is promising to me, however I cannot create new items. If I enter the 'new' dialogue and enter all fields, the 'accept' option is never active.

I bet, the option to create a new container is missing.

It would be great if you habe a look for that issue.

Hi tmojo

You are correct, I discovered the problem this weekend as I was trying to add some new items.

I have corrected the problem and have just relesed a new version.

Thanks for the feedback.
