LÖVE Chessboard (fork from https://codeberg.org/rchastain/love-chessboard)

User's guide

Drag and drop pieces with mouse. For now, there is no artificial opponent. The computer indicates legal moves, but doesn't play.

This forks adds the following features:

  • Added touch controls ( so that it can be played on mobiles)
  • Increased resolution of some of the assets
  • Increased game width and height

- v0.1.2 adds new set of assets by "Sharm" (https://opengameart.org/content/boardgame-tiles)

- v0.1.3. adds: assets can be switched during gameplay (4 sets available: "fritz", "sharm", "smirf" and "warlord".

- v0.1.4. adds:

- Added automatic device orientation detection
- Landscape mode
